Key Personnel

Douglas Hess, President

Doug has a Bachelor of Science degree from Purdue University in Building Contruction and Contracting and an Associate of Science degree from Purdue in Architectural Technology.  For six years Doug was a Certified Cost Consultant (CCC) by the American Association of Cost Engineers (AACE).  Doug is an active member of the San Antonio chapter of the Software Process Improvement Network (SPIN).  Doug also served three years as a charter member of the Benchmarking and Metrics Committee for the Construction Industry Institute (CII).  CII is a non-profit organization sponsored by the University of Texas dedicated to improving the construction industry.  Doug developed prototype electronic gathering software for CII's use and distribution to all member companies.

Doug worked his way up the construction ladder from carpenter to corporate manager of project controls.  With more than 25 years experience in project controls on major construction projects throughout the United States, Doug understands controls from all levels.  Doug spent much of the last 20 years developing software for project controls which apply the collective expertise of successful projects and individuals to all future projects as a standard.

Linda Hess, Vice President

Linda worked 15 years as a medical claims management specialist for USAA.  Linda managed data, maintained the computer system, and trained others throughout the United States how to use the system efficiently.  Linda is now managing, maintaining and training our two young daughters while working as the Office Manager of Artistic Trees, Inc.

	Zachry provides a wide array of services including construction, project development, construction management and industrial maintenance to both domestic and international customers.  Zachry constructs and maintains power plants, steel mills, pulp and paper mills, chemical plants and refineries.  Dams, reservoirs, airfields, runways, highways, wastewater treatment plants and commercial construction are also included in Zachry's portfolio.
